HELLO! I AM POOJITHA,
WELCOME TO SO POSITIVE
I’m a certified Nutritionist and I strongly believe we are what we eat. Food is information. It’s a way we communicate with our body. If we feed our body with nourishing food like fruits, vegetables, Nuts, seed we are asking our body to stay healthy, active and young on the other hand if we feed our body with sugary drinks, deep fried chips, highly processed foods we are asking our body to store excessive fat, age soon , face inflammation, hormonal imbalance. I feel I’ve come a long way in understanding being healthy is a state physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. It is living according to the laws of nature and the laws of our physical and biological make-up . when we align with nature…the way we eat, sleep , think and move tend to get better. Below is my wellness journey ,if it resonates with you, I’d be super thrilled to be a part of your journey and help you live a more wholesome life.
MY WELLNESS JOURNEY

Born in a south Indian family of incredible cooks, I grew up relishing food cooked with a whole lot of love by both my Mother and Grandmother. Thanks to them, wholesome food was always a part of my diet. Though I went a little off track with my eating habits during my initial college days, it was my mother, whom I call an angel living on earth and her lifestyle that quickly motivated me to get back.
My journey towards wellness and conscious eating started about 7 years ago with the mere intention of shedding a few kilos.
Through my journey of 7 years I heard and read about low-fat diet, low carb diet, low sugar diet, high protein diet, Keto, Intermittent fasting, various cleanses that just left me confused. What was I supposed to do? There’s so much information and it’s all so overwhelming.
I was put on a few of these fad diets too, to be honest with you I tried most of them on my own either because I read about it in a book or my friend in the gym lost a few kilos on that particular diet. I had a very on and off relation with “being healthy”. At times I went on crazy calorie restriction diets, felt deprived, and eventually went back to trying yet another diet.
It took me a while to understand there’s no one universal diet, the real reason being No one diet fits all. What we actually need are those small changes in lifestyle and eating habits to see the magic within us come alive.
I am constantly working on the limiting system that some foods are really good for us and some are really bad. Indulge in things but also draw a line, it’s not what you eat but how and when you eat.
Conscious eating is something I’ve been practicing for years now. I have recently turned plant-based for moral, ethical, and Sustainable reasons.
Nutrition, health, fitness, are very close to my heart as a lot of other things in my life have changed because I was able to recognize this through my food and lifestyle habits. I always enjoyed reading and updating myself with all the latest information and research relating to these topics. Giving a few tidbits to friends and family members on these topics…seeing their transformation or hearing how just a small change helped them reach their goal or get rid of a particular health issue they were facing gave me joy that matched with nothing else.
It is this journey of mine and my obsession for nourishing food. With some great encouragement from family and friends, I decided to study nutrition.
I’ve done various certifications in Nutrition and wellness that combine wisdom from modern science to age old Ayurveda that has given me a strong foundation of knowledge and helped me understand the importance of holistic nutrition. Now, I’m bursting with all this life-changing information and I’m super excited to share it with you.
I have completed my basics of Ayurveda & herbalism from Prana Academy, Mumbai and also a Precision certified Nutritionist, Canada.
As a Sports Nutritionist with knowledge in the basics of Ayurveda, I believe that the secret to lasting health is blending ancient eastern health wisdom with modern nutritional science.
When it comes to Ayurveda I’m by no means an expert as it is such a deep topic that required good 6 years of studying to come out as a professional. But I have learned a fair amount to help you with nutritional requirements by keeping things simple and easy just like how our food and lifestyle habits should be.
I’m constantly on a path of learning. I feel I’ve picked up some life-changing rituals, lifestyles, eating habits that are simple yet powerful through my journey that has transformed my life and I genuinely believe our journey together would bring joy and wellbeing into your lives too. My goal is to totally empower you to understand your body, mind, soul and help you live a more wholesome life. You will learn how unique and beautiful each one of us is. This information has transformed my entire world, and it will for you too.
I'm super thrilled in starting our journey towards resetting our lives and filling them with love, health, and acceptance.
Together I believe we can build a community that is supportive towards living a healthy and wholesome life.
Sending you lots and lots of love, light, and everything nice
